Rugby League

Hello all, I am new to your forum and I wondered if any of you could help.
Hubby and I are going to Orlando next week, but hubby is a avid rugby league fan and I wondered if any of you know where he can see the matches which they show over here on Sky Sports, I know some show football but as anyone ever heard of rugby league being shown not rugby union.
Hope you can help.

I think you're going to struggle, but IMHO the best chance would be the Cricketer's Arms pub.

A friend of mine from the States wanted to watch the games from the World cup rugby (union) last year which featured the team of the USA and even those were a week later than they were played. I think that indicates that rugby isn't yet a big TV sport in the US even if Union is getting quite popular as a participation sport.

I think you will find it quite hard to find either code shown over there - particularly if it is not a big tournament like the World Cup which might make it on to screens at places like the Cricketers at the Mercado.

Somebody might be able to correct me but I have never seen any Sky channel shown in America - only syndicated football matches that were obviously the Sky sports programmes that had been sold on to ESPN etc.

Snapper , I think the Rugby union was on Fox sports. I believe that's a Murdoch owned chanel so syndicated from Sky.

No I have never seen rugby league in orlando. What I do is go to where there is the internet and get the scores from the websites sad or what .

Out of 12 visits never seen RL. Why would you want to watch it?
Nobody watches it more than me. Batley home and away, my local team (Thornhill) every home game and every televised Super League game. Even I don't miss it in Florida.

Wakefield needs fans like you I think you need to jump ship and come and support a super league team.
