OK--But you were still driving a few months ago. Why not just drive to Wal Mart and pick up the lay away?:confused3

You posted this on 8-18-2006::

And now you say this today::

:confused3

Was your DH fibbing to the Wal Mart clerk? Do you have your license? Are you able to drive safely now? I hope so since you were driving children around less than 4 months ago :guilty:

Also--Back in August--You drove your mom to work---She works at WAL MART :faint: So you are capable of driving there to pick up your layaway, no?

I never said I NEVER drove. Just that NOW DH does all the driving.

Fair enough. I guess I don't know her history. I just thought the "my brother had a heart attack and still drives" comment wasn't fair.

well i don't know her history either, but i don't go around looking for reasons to start fights.

Oh yeah, I remember this poster now,
If you don't feel comfortable driving yourself around you really shouldnt ever drive your children around. That was my main concern in not renewing my license and mine and my doctors decision for me to quit driving. I had 3 kids and I couldnt see well enough to make it through a 4 way stop every time. I had had enough close calls that it just wasn't worth it to me. Not to mention what if I injured someone elses child or some innocent person? I can't think of a reason I would drive against the knowledge I have. I would either call 911 or a cab if I couldnt get a ride somewhere.

Here we go again

He explained to them that I don't have my license so I couldn't come up on my own

So you do drive? You just don't have a license?

And when you do drive, it is unsafe b/c of your heart attacks? :confused3

i think she means that she has driven in the past, but as of late she doesn't drive anymore.

No fighting. Just trying to get the facts :)

She came to a public place to discuss why Wal Mart is rude and I am trying to see another side to the story. She didn't tell the entire story.

Who is starting "fights" :confused3

Her DH said she did NOT have a license. But..watch! She will take what you just said and run with it :rotfl:

The truth is important here. Besides no one, not even the OP, knows how the husband acted towards the Wal-Mart clerk. Or the policy about such things at Wal-Mart. Or if the husband had the layaway receipt - do they still hand those out?

Just wondering...

Actually I started running on page 2.

My doctor changed my medication and I have had fainting spells so I chose not to renew my license since I wasn't comfortable with what was happening.

if she's not driving for medical reasons, they could have taken her license. or she could have turned it in. i just don't understand why there's such hostility towards the OP. if you don't like her, why bother even reading her posts anyway? would save a lot of aggrivation.

Frankly, b/c Irishbosoxfan has a history of not telling the entire truth :thumbsup2

I hate to stand up for Wal Mart, but there is more to this story ::yes::

Well at least a truth that would satisfy you! But then I'm not prone to harrassing people on the internet and browbeating them to try and "find out the whole truth"

*X-Files Theme*

"the truth......is out there....."

lol honestly tho, this is just a message board. i don't get why some people get SO upset over stupid things, you know?? i'm sorry, i have a REAL life as well, and plenty of other things to worry about than if someone on the internet that i've never met, is lying or not.

It would save a lot of aggravation but then where else would they go for fun this evening?

I have dealt with them before and if you don't write a chapter book in your initial post and then answer their questions when they ask them you're lying because of it.

To be honest, you are the only one that seems aggravated :teeth:

I am not one bit aggravated :confused3

I was just wondering if there is more to the story with Wal Mart.

I haven't seen a post from the OP in a long, long while. It is weird, but I had an issue w/ Wal Mart as of late, so her title caught my eye.

I'm not trying to argue here! If you are passing out because of your meds, you should call your doc and tell him/her!!

I'm guessing you are taking meds to lower your bp...but could be that your bp is sinking too low...not such a great thing if you've had a heart attack! Of course, it could be something else entirely!

Don't just stop driving. Call your doc and tell him/her you are passing out!

I return you to your previously scheduled argument.

I think about the OP and worry her children often. Her previous posts have always stuck with me :guilty:

......i sound aggrivated? this goes back to my other post of "it's hard to tell someone's emotions over the internet" because in all honesty, i'm enjoying reading all of these people bashing her for no apparent reason. "omg she lied!"...."ok.......and i care because...??"

well i'm not aggrivated, anyway. just so you know.

My doc does know! I was on Lopressor but was having irreg heartbeat so they switched me to enalapril and it does decrease blood pressure--she is trying to adjust it so it works without the side effects

sometimes people have to deal with the side effects, too. certain blood pressure meds will make you fatigued, and there's not much else you can do about it. so if she(OP) is having problems with meds, there might not be much that can be done about it.

I don't think Wal Mart did anything wrong. I feel bad for the cashier having to deal with people coming to pick up layaways that they are not entitled too. I guess we won't hear much about layaways anymore with Wal Mart after this year our Wal Mart will not be having them anymore, maybe this is one of the reasons..
