We ate at Hollywood and Vine on our vacation and one waitress was kind of rude. My 6 year old daughter accidentally dropped her lemonade and after we were trying to clean up the mess the waitress came over , threw US a cloth and said"too bad you dropped your lemonade, but you dont get another" and then she promptly walked away. The kid was so upset.
Now, if the lemonade was one per person, ok, I would have paid the extra money, no problem. I didnt get a chance to even tell her, she never came back. It really irked me she threw us the towel to clean the table and left.
Is it her job to clean up the mess or mine?
I wasnt sure, so I didnt report it to the manager. But her words lost her a nice tip.Had she brought the poor kid another lemonade and made a cute comment like "this ones on the house", or said she could ahve another one, but I would have to pay extra. Am I crazy to make a deal out of it? She just irritated me. Didnt ruin my day or my trip. She is small potatoes. But I had to vent to my friends here.

. The servers have always been helpful or at least tried to make me feel better. I feel so bad for your daughter
. Your server was a big meanie!
), but in my opinion this waitress' behavior was WAY out of line. I would have tossed the towel back at her, picked up my party, and walked out... after a conversation with the manager. I have always had great experiences at WDW (lets face it...thats why we go there), but this bums me out that this happend to you. Hope you don't lose faith in Disney.
There was no reason for her comment or actions, she would have been fired in the restaurant I work at. I can't tell you how many spills I've had to clean up and I always joke about it when I do. I always tell the guest that they are cut off and no more to drink for them. It makes them feel a little better and increases my tip a couple of dollars.
...sorry...just HAD to throw that in!!!).
