I know, The New Seekers (I'd like to teach the world to Sing) were on 'This Morning' today, although only one of them was from the original group, and Showaddywaddy were on the same a few weeks ago!

We saw showaddywaddy a few months ago and they were dreadfull all Dave Bartrum was doing was leching over the women they only sang a couple of their own songs yuk!!!

Yes i'll admit it as well! i remember the Rubettes!!!
have a great night :)

Not only do I remember them, I remember the paper cut-out flat cap that came with the album. Wish I'd kept it - it'd be worth at least 50p on eBay! :teeth: Have fun. I'd know all the words - always a good thing when you see a band live.

Crazy - strange how these groups keep going , especially when most of the original members have left.

Yep! Went to see them at Tiffanys in Shrewsbury, back in the early 70s - but don't tell my mates.

What, as much as that ??? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Don't remember them but hope you had a fantastic time.

They were really good not many in the club but the ones who were enjoyed themselves.

They probably don't have any other skills. I know a lot of 'fans' enjoy seeing their old heros but to me it seems like flogging a dead horse, especially when there are only one or two original members.

I agree, guess they have to do something - no harm done if it gives people some fun though.

Guess we are just old hippeis at heart! Not much to listen to with todays music though is there. Wonder how many people will be able to go and see the bands from this decade in 35 years time. I don't think i will remember any of them.!!
