RSVP with Save the Date!

Good Afternoon..

Already in the wedding planning mode === even though I am still 11 months out..

I have a question to ask all of you!!!

I have a maximum of 90 guests that I can invite and just recieved list from FMIL and it brought us to 111..

How tacky is it to send out RSVP's with the Save the Dates so if some can not come -- I can invite others.. Also does anyone have any suggestions on wording this RSVP??

So... you have a maximum of 90 you can invite, or a max of 90 you can have at the wedding? Because at least 20% of the people you invite won't be able to come, and when it's a destination wedding, that number is even higher. We only have 37 of our 55 invitees coming - 60% of our original list.

I think it might be tacky to send RSVPs with Save the Dates, since this will be the first many of the guests have heard about the event, and they won't know yet whether they can come to something that's so far in the future. However, you will get a lot of unofficial response from people just by sending the Save the Dates - and we had some people decline after they got the save the date and before we even sent an invitation. You'll be able to get a pretty good ballpark figure without sending formal RSVPs.

We have a maximum of 90 you can invite -- ( We have penciled in the Whitehall Ballroom @ Grand Floridian) and Kristi Davis (lady I talked to) said it had a maximum of 90 I could fit in there for a platted dinner..
