My BFF and her brother & sister have been at DLR this week and they were at DCA at rope drop on Thursday (actually arrived at 7:15am) and went straight to RSR and had a 45 minute wait. They said the wait for FPs was longer than the wait to go right on the ride, so perhaps heading straight to the ride is your best bet :goodvibes

I agree if you go directly to RSR with no hesitation. With the AP extra magic mornings you have all week of people in line ahead of you until that goes away. During the AP event we still had a 45-55 minute wait for RSR. If your lucky enough to have one of those early mornings, I suggest that you first go one RSR and then once off (if you are so inclined) get into the FP line and score FP's for later in the day. If you time it right you can get a FP for after dark which is an awesome time to ride.

What they experienced was likely nothing better or worse. They waited 90 minutes. 45 at the rope drop 45 at the attraction. Sometimes you can wait 45 for the RSR FP and 45 in the FP return line.
