I am trying to find out about how long a wait the fast pass line is to get on the ride? Every time I try to search this I only find answers in regards to the length of time to get the fast pass from the kiosk. I do know that the length of the ride's fast pass return line changes depending on the time of day, but could I get some approximates for the different times of day?

We used RSR FPs last Mon, Tue, and Thur. Our return times were ranging from 11:30am to 1pm. DH timed it on his watch how long we waited in the FP line and it was about 10 min. each time. Had the ride broken down during that time, it would have been longer. Our total wait time for FPs and the line was less than hour, so worth it for us to get FPs. We only rode it 3 times during our trip though.

We went the week before Pinkbudgie. Our FP return times were about the same times as hers. We used the FP's within the stated return times, as we didn't want to risk the ride going down later in the evening and not being able to use them. We also got on the ride within 10-12 minutes. I have heard that the later in the day you use them, that wait times can increase a bit, since some people wait and use their FP's after the stated time, increasing the number of FP people getting on the ride later in the day.

We waited in the fastpass return line around 3:30 last Sunday. We did not time our wait, but I think it was about 20-25 minutes. The ride stopped briefly once during our wait.

Our wait was 20 min on 2 different occasions. We returned during the return window and there were no breakdowns.

We used ours within the window too. We also didn't want to loose a chance riding due to breakdowns later.

Thank you for sharing your experiences...it is very helpful. Anyone have experience for the wait times during evening hours (just in case that's the time that I'm given)?

The fast pass line this past Monday was about 10 minutes around 12n and about the same around 8pm. Niece and nephew got to go an extra time because Mom and Dad decided not to use their fast passes. I was able to ride RSR three times during my trip last week, 2 fp and 1 single rider, It was one of my top five all-time Disney rides. If you ride Luigi's and Mater's first thing in the morning you will have minimal waits. They are both fun rides also, but short.

On two occasions in mid July we had FP for RSR and used them in the evening after dark (so 9:30 PM or thereabouts). Each time it took around 30 minutes to get through the line.

Hopefully this falls in the same category...I'm stressing reading all the info about Carsland and getting the FP as soon as we get in the gate. I have read that they often run out and the line for the FP to get them is insane. We are definitely planners and don't want to screw up our chances.

We are definitely FP people and willing to run to get them while the other gets in line for a ride. We are not staying on premises, so we don't have EE, but plan to get to the park before it opens at 8.

Will my best bet be for my husband to run to the FP line for RSR and I take the kids to another ride in Carsland or should we go to RSR too that way we can ride it twice?

We have been to WDW a million times and feel like the expert, but never to DLR. I don't want to screw it up. We want to get on these rides as much as possible.

Any info. would be great. Thanks!!!! We are going August 14.

One last thing, we obviously want to see WOC too, so does that count as a FP during the day or more like a reserved ticket?

We were just there in mid July and both methods worked -- we had one person wait for FP while the others did other rides (met up at TSMM) and also had one person wait for FP while the others rode RSR single rider.

One day we arrived 7:30ish, the other we were slightly earlier than that... they are letting people through the gate to either get in line for FP OR wait for rope drop (which is more of a Rope Walk, they walk the group back to RSR).

WOC is totally disconnected, the FP is separate from any other FP, and can be collected at any time. If you want the early show, I recommend getting over to the FP machines fairly early, before noon for sure.

Last time I was there (end of June) the FP return line after WOC was over 1 hour. I assume its less now because fewer locals are there.
