Not surprising, personally I would forget RSR and head to Luigi's or TSMM at this point. Then get a RSR FP for later. But I hate wasting valuable EMH time. Hope it is back up soon!

During our July trip we burned our AP Early morning at RSR waiting for the ride to run, the cars were running the whole time, but not to some level of satisfaction to allow us to ride it.

90minutes later, 40 minutes into regular park hours, it finally opened and we got to ride it, as we were getting off, the stopped and was closed again We are headed back in December, so hopeful they can improve this.

We were trying to get our photopass picture as the ride went down. It was interesting how quiet it got when they "called it", since the music goes off, etc. the photopass people said that the animatronics can get unsynched and they have to stop then reset it. They said that it requires the animators to fix it, and when the ride opened the animators were in their offices in Burbank. Now they make sure the animators are onsite. They said it can also be something like a hat on the track, since that can mess up the ride. They absolutely have to get it right then.

Obviously we had a little chat with the CMs there, and as we left it was starting to come back up. I felt bad for anyone who had gotten out of line...

This happened to our group on Sunday. Everyone was up by 5:30 am and at the park by 6:30. We used our EMH to get in at 7 and by about 8:10 they gave up. Dh and I waited in the FP lines so thankfully they were able to ride later. I felt so bad.
