RS Transport - Did anyone pay in person???

Hi all,
I have a booking for the above for our January trip and I was just adding my friend to the booking as shes only just found out she can definately come. So I have to pay a further €17 and I said I would do it in person as I do not like giving CC details over the phone and they said it would have to be taken before we arrive!???
Is this not a bit odd as you can choose to pay in person on their website?

What do ye all think?

Hi, I've always paid in person. I've had to pay the return trip along with the arrival trip, ie when arrive at the hotel, but have never paid up front by card.

i payed in person the previous time, this time as we were only going 1way with them i payed with cc, and then panicked as they were really late!! (driver was at wrong terminal, he didnt get a tip!). sounds odd since you hadnt payed for the original booking by cc.

Sorry I wasn't clear in OP - I had paid by CC but that was over their secure payment page and I just want to pay the €17 for my friend to be added to the booking when we get picked up at CDG but they want me to pay via email or fax now and I'm not comfortable with it as I use my Mam's CC and I just don't think doing it via email or fax is secure.

It does seem a bit silly that they couldn't just have it marked against your booking that the driver has to collect the extra € from you on arrival.

I can understand you not wishing to put the CC details in an email so I think the lesser of the evils would be for you to phone the details through to them.

Thanks Elaine. Will give them a ring tomorrow and sort the whole lot. It just seems a bit petty. We have used them 5 times in 2 years like.
