We've always loved this hotel - it's our favorite. Hubby and I will be going down soon to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. As a surprise for Hubby I wanted to add a night at Club Level to our reservation, just pay whatever extra money it would be. What a run around I've been getting. I've been told that Club is sold out and there probably wouldn't be enough food for two more people!!!!!!! I don't even want to change rooms - just want them to cut a card for Club level for us for that one day. I know that club now includes some rooms on the 6th floor and this is what they do, they cut a card for room and one for elevator access to Club. It's bad enough that I'm getting such a lame excuse but I've called and been kept on hold for as long as 20 minutes and then they tell me that the Manager is on the phone or in a meeting and will get back to me. I called once yesterday and twice today - always too busy to talk to me, always promise to call back, haven't received a call back yet and no answer to my e-mails. This has been going on since Tuesday. Even if they say they cannot do it I'm really upset that, especially knowing what a special occasion this is for us, no one has the courtesy to at least get back to me one way or the other. Oh well, I won't let this ruin our vacation but I sure was hoping I could see the look on hubby's face when I hit the button for Club Level!!! Thanks for listening to this very long rant.
