Standard vs waterview??? Do I really care that much?

Nope you don't really care, lol. There can be some really pretty standard views.

Standard rooms are fine. We only get a free upgrade with Loews You First program. There has been many times we just get a standard room instead of waiting for the waterview later in the day if its not ready. Its not about the room view, we don't spend much time in the room.

I wouldn't care. Not once have I ever sat and stared out my window.

The only thing that would be nice is with older kids that I can send to the pool by themselves would be being able to check up on them out the window. (eta: wow, that's some awesome grammar, lol!) But waterview doesn't mean a good pool view, so not worth it.
