I would call the hotel directly & bring documentation of the medical condition with you for check in! I had made a request due to medical reasons at the HRH last October. I had even spoken to the front desk directly. Low & behold, when we checked in, we were given the worst possible (exact oppiste) room for what we needed, I didn't have any documentation to prove the medical condition except that my husband (and by that time my daughter due to a fall the day before we left) were on crutches!!! Yes, 2 of the 4 guests were on crutches. We had asked for a room near an elevator or one on the 1st or lobby floor since my husband was going thru PT on his leg & getting ready for an upcoming surgery (he couldn't walk up or down stairs at all) ... what did we get??? The very last room ..the furthest from the elevator on the 6th floor. God forbid had there been a fire, my husband wouldn't have gotten down that many stairs... not even with me helping him, not to mention who would helped my 14 yr old daughter (other daugher was 10 at the time). We told them that we needed something else & we were never switched... front desk said they were "all booked up". I did place a formal complaint with Lowes & sent documentation from his Ortho Dr. It is like booking a handicap room & not getting it... it is a medical reason. Had it only been my daughter... I wouldn't have expected a room like that with such short notice.... her's wasn't a planned visit with crutches, but my husbands was & they had known that for a least a month prior to check in. I do not have the RPR's number in front of me, but you can access it at the Universal web site.. this site may even have it.... good luck and have fun
