RPR Room question

Last month I called and booked RPR for 9/10 to 9/14 for DH and myself. Used the Ent rate and booked standard view. DH and I go often so a view is not a big deal. We have since decided to take our niece with us as a combination 18th B'day/Graduation present. She has never been to Orlando so I really want to make this trip special for her.

Now I am torn. Should I stick with the standard view room or upgrade to a king suite so we'll have more room. I am Loews Blue but there is no chance of a comp or $35 upgrade if i stick w. the ent rate.

Can anyone who has stayed in a King suite please let me know if it is worth the cost ? Thanks!

I'm not sure what rate you received for the King Suite, but I inquired about one a couple of weeks ago and was given a rate of $279. Perhaps you should book two standard view rooms at the Ent. rate of $110 per room. Just a suggestion.

antmaril, I'm not certain, maybe you know, but don't the suites offer a king bed and a pullout??? She may want to find out......... esp. since she'll need 2 beds. ( I'm assuming her niece won't want to sleep on a sofabed.)

It was my understanding that the king suite has a king sized bed and a sofabed. That's why I thought getting two standard rooms might work well for them and would also be $59 per night cheaper than the suite (assuming a rate of $279 for the suite). Two rooms would also give them two bathrooms, which is always nice. Perhaps they could ask for connecting rooms, which might be more convenient.

My family stayed in a King Suite last month. The extra space was wonderful, I just wish they offered this with 2 queens instead of King bed and sofa couch. We had our 2 boys 6 and 9 on the pull out and my 9 year old hated it and said it was very uncomfortable. The bedroom area has a door so it is 2 seperate rooms. I would stick with the standard room..if you switch to the king room, she will have to sleep on a sofa bed...as we all know..these are not very comfy.
