RPR now $129 (APH) for October!!

I just checked the Loews website. The APH rate for October has dropped to $129 a night. It was $146. I have a Club room booked for $209. Now I can't decide on keeping the Club, or going for the Standard room.

Is that for a week day? I'd go standard. You can buy a good breakfast, all the treats you can eat, and quite a few drinks for $80 a day.

I am fairly new to the Universal Boards, and had a question.


Is an APH rate for an Annual Pass Holder? If it is, how do you locate the rates? I an almost positive I will be purchasing an annual pass here in the next week, and like to check the rates available - do you have to have the pass first, or are you able to check beforehand?

To check on Annual Pass rates you can call and get them over the phone or check them online at universalorlando.com by typing in APH in the promotional code field.

When we stayed Club we still ended up going to breakfast downstairs at the request of my DH and DS. Yes, RP Club is great, but they missed their omelets. So.... I would just stick with standard and spend the money on something else.

I checked rates and at Portofino, they have club level for $258 for APH, so I am gonna book it - cheaper than a Garden View, so why not!!

Thanks for posting this - my rate only dropped a little for Dec. - 132.00 (RPR std) to 129.00 - went through Loew's # and the CM even said "every little bit helps!" - well, I'll look at it as one free night of parking (almost!)
