Has anyone gone to the luau dinner at RPR? I was thinking of making a reservation for it cause it seems like a pretty good deal. Just wanted a personal opinion from someone who's been. Is it worth it?

We have been, and the food was excellent , and lots of choices, plus all you want to drink, although we went and got our own drinks rather than wait. The show was ok , nothing spectacular typical Luau but glad we went ,might do it again next year , as it has been a few years since we went.
One thing i would say, get there early, we where told it opens at 6oclock so get there at 5:30, when we went there was a rather large queue, so i would say about 5 oclock if you want a table closer to the stage.

If you are going, definitely make a reservation. We waited until we arrived at our hotel (HRH) to request Luau tickets, but it was sold out.

Thanks for the tip! We're staying at the resort so that shouldn't be a problem!! Where is it located within the resort? By the pool? I've been there once but it was only for 2 nights and we were so busy, we didn't really get a chance to explore much. And when you make the reservation, do you have to pay in advance?

We're planning on it!

Are you familiar with the different Tower Blocks, its outside tower 2, beside the crocquet lawn

We always stay in July at RPR, we had the Luau booked , but tables where also availbale for the show when we where there without reservations.

We did it back in April. The food is a plenty(alot of spicey selections)but very good and fresh..You got 1hr to get your food and eat and the rest is the show, with free bevs.I would do it again but you have no choice were you sit to eat.We had some friends there at the time and they were on the other side of the pavillion!!They do keep family together tho!!

There's a crocquet lawn? guess that answers your question. I'm sure we'll find it ok! I'm looking forward to it because it sounds like it's going to be a good time!!

Spicey is fine by me! It's just me and my boyfriend and we're not picky, so I don't think it'll matter where we sit. It's something new for both of us so I'm sure we'll enjoy it!
