I have two children 1yr and 5yrs and are staying in December at RPR. I got a king suite because my husband and I want some privacy. Has anyone stayed in a king suite there? Is HR better?

I considered booking one of these a few months ago.

I don't have any first hand experience with these but I was told there is a king bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa in the parlor.

I was originally told that there was also a sofa bed in the bedroom by the reservationist and was told this was incorrect by the hotel directly.

I'd love to see pictures if you end up staying in one of these.

The hotel also said that there are a few of these rooms on the club floor and told me to request this specifically. I don't know how much extra this would be if you are interested in one on club floor.

Finally, if they are still doing the 4th night free, I was told that also applies to these rooms.

Good luck with your planning.

Could someone tell me what club level gets you at PBR? thanks!

I stayed in the king suite at the HR. The suite is a nice size but one room flows right into the other. Eating area, sitting area with pullout and Bedroom area. There is no door to seperate the bedroom area from the sitting area. One nice feature is that the suite has two TV's.

Hi

I just got back from a stay in one of the king executive suites at the Royal Pacific. It is like having two rooms. One room is like a 'regular king hotel room' and the other room is your sitting room and has a 60 inch tv, coffee table, chair, pull out couch. There is also what I would describe as a small 'dining' type table with two chairs in the room. The bathroom adjoins to the sitting room, not the king bedroom.

To better describe, you walk in and the bathroom/separate one sink vanity is on your right and there is a closet with 2 bathrobes on your left. Then you step into the sitting room. The table and 2 chairs are on your immediate right. coffee table, extra chair and pull out couch in that room along with the wonderful HUGE tv.

Turn to your left and there is the king bedroom. It can be closed off by the door. Good sized closet with 2 more bathrobes in there on the left. There is a nice chaise lounger next to the bed on the left side of the room. Each side of the bed is flanked by a nightstand and to the right of the bed was a round table and chair. There is an armoire with your tv and the coffee machine.

We really enjoyed the suite. The room was just beautiful and it was GREAT to have all that space, although I do have to say that the pull out sleeper sofa is NOT comfortable. It was fine for an overnight stay, but for a family vacation, you might be better off booking a family suite at one of the other hotels. However, with the ages of your kids, if one is still in a crib, the 5 year old would probably be fine on the pull out. I have 2 boys, ages 8 and 10 and they were just too big to share that full sized pull out. Full sized pull outs always seem even smaller than full sized beds, you know what I mean?! And those bars in the couch like to make themselves known. (By the way, It is NOT a queen pull out, if anyone tries to tell you that) We were on the 5th floor of tower 2, by the way. Room 2500.
Have fun!

Thank you so much for such detail. My 5yo boy is happy on the floor so I won't worry too much about his sleeping comfort. Otherwise, big tv and some privacy sounds perfect. Would request your tower room location or is there a better location?

Did you think it was clean, did you get good service? How were the bed sheets, linens, comforters? Is there a game room (my 5yo loves video games). Did your boys have a good time at the hotel?

Sorry for so many questions but since it's fresh in your mind, I thought I'd hit you up. Thanks again for your reply!

Hi there!

It sounds like you'll be very happy with the king suite then. We love the Royal Pacific. All the Loews Hotels have, in our experience, been extremely clean and have excellent service. The beds are absolutely wonderful, both in suites and standard rooms. Loews hotels have the high thread count, egyptian cotton bedding with wonderful comforters. Like you said, it is fresh in my mind and I know in the suite they are triple sheeted (they might be in the standard rooms too, I just don't recall right now)

I honestly don't know if there is a game room...if we aren't in the parks, we're at the pool!

They have nice gifts at check in for the kids...a bucket with shovel that also has a shell necklace. Have a good time!

We stayed in a King Suite at the RPC and it was great! They are truly two seperate rooms so you should have plenty of room and privacy. The great thing about the living area is that it comes with a vcr/dvd player which is great for the kids. Another truly great thing was the "suite" ammenities. There is a list of special ammenities available to suite guests which include hypo-allergenic bedding, free video rentals, cd's, foam/down pillows, etc. And we got turn down service too.

By the way, we have three kids and there was enough room for two on the pull out sofa (young backs don't mind the discomfort too much!} and there was room for a roll-away too. Have a great time!
