Just wondering for who have stayed in a king suite at RPR if there is 2 A/C panels being 2 rooms. The living room and bedroom. The suite is the size of 2 standard rooms so would they have a bigger A/C unit or possible 2 controls.:confused3

I hope it is bigger than a standard room, twice the space. In the summer it's sometime hard for the standard room to keep it cold.

I remember turning the temperature up, so I don't think there was an issue. However, we weren't in the king suite in the summer.

My husband and I stayed in 2300 (King Suite - Tower 2, Lobby level) which was right next to Housekeeping. Wouldn't recommend that room as the service elevator was cranky and noisy all night!!

However, there are thermostats in both the living area and bedroom.

Well there you go, Bluer. A definitive answer. I only recall the one in the seating area.

My family has stayed in the king suites at the RPR in the middle of July and had no issues with the A/C - and we like our rooms cold.

We're back in one in a couple of weeks - can't wait.

Thank you:)

It has to be cold for me to sleep good. I also bring a oscillating floor fan to help with ambient noise.

As for the A/C panels I was thinking it might be behind the bedroom door.

Thanks for a heads up 2300. We never stay in tower 2, it's noted on my Loews account. I have upper floors in tower 1 or 3 noted also. :thumbsup2

We need ambient noise to sleep as well. We turn the radio on to some white noise channel and just use that. It is especially helpful when you have a dog with you who gets distracted by every noise in the hallways.

The fan also provides more cooling.;)

We are just to used to having the ceiling fans on high at home. The first time we stayed at RPR it was so quite that we had that ringing in your ears. I also ran out to Walmart to buy a fan. After that we just bring the fan.

I wonder why they don't have ceiling fans in most hotels?:confused3

I thought I read on here recently that someone had requested a fan and the hotel brought one up...we always bring one but it would be nice to not HAVE to lol

When we were at Portofino we had a fan and a humidifier requested through star services.:thumbsup2

Don't know if they still have them - but on a visit a few years ago when we forgot our "noise machine" Star Service supplied one. So it might be worth asking.

Now we just use the white noise app on our I-Phones/Pads/Pods/whatevers ...
