RPR Fitness Room

I read where it is $10 a day to use the fitness room. Is that per 24 hours or is that each use? I was wondering if I went one evening and then the next morning, is that the same 24 hours (like internet runs) or is it pay per use? I know I could call the hotel, but figured someone here might know.

one day would be that day.
midnight to 11:59 that night.

but, they aren't open except for set times.


if you go monday at 8:30, you can go back before it closes in the evening on that same monday for the $10 fee.

Do they have massage and a co-ed steam room??

Apply for Loews First membership (it's free) and you can use the fitness center, steam room and sauna at no charge.

There is a steam room and sauna in both the men and women's locker rooms, so no--not co-ed. But there is an inside hot tub that is co-ed.

I thought the Loews First members only got free health club if you'd achieved a certain # of stays? I have joined, but this is my first Loews stay, so I didn't think I actually got many (if any) perks this visit.

Assuming it's not free, is the $10 per person, or per room? If my 13 year old nephew goes with me, do I have to pay for him as well? I'd assume so but hoping not!

This was our first stay at a Loews property. We were told at check in that as Lowes First members we had access to the gym. Had no problems...it was great! You will love this hotel.

That's AWESOME! I almost upgraded to the Club level to (among other perks) have the free gym access,...now I'm REALLY glad I didn't!

I just joined YouFirst, so will that work? I also saw where you only got free internet and free gym use if it was like your 3rd or 4th stay. This is my first, and I only joined a few minutes ago... do you think it will work?

i am platinum on the loews first and know the rules changed last july on the membership levels.

read the loews you first section on new members amenities.
i know you have to have 2 stays in before you hit the blue level now.


don't know what perks are for those that just signed up.


on the other hand, maybe the hotel tm's won't know the difference and let you use the exercise room free.

Well, seeing as how I'm on my way home from my trip...the Loews membership did nothing for me, so ldmilton, either you got really lucky or I was unlucky! I asked the desk clerk about it and she assured me it was after your first stay only when you would be given the free internet and free health club.

Seeing as how the internet was for a fixed period from 1am to the following 1am, instead of being for a 24-hour period starrting when you first logged in, like it was at Disney) we never got the room internet access. I typically wanted it in the evenings, but it PO'd me to think that I would be charged again the next morning if I wanted to jump on for a few minutes. Also it was wired access int he rooms, wireless (free) available only in select commons areas of the hotel.

Never used the fitness center since it too was a $10 per day charge, and it would have cost $10 for my nephew to join me (as it's a per person charge and not a per-room charge).

So, a bummer, but still a GREAT stay! The FOTL room key was nearly worth the price of the room!

i'm sorry to hear you didn't get the freebies.

last year the time period for the internet charge went from 3 in the afternoon to 2:59 in that 24 hour period.

i don't understand how the hotels give perks to some and not others.


maybe next time you'll get a sweet TM and get all the perks for free.

but i am glad you had a good time there.

Glad you had a great time, but sorry you didn't get the perks. We went at a pretty slow time...maybe that had something to do with getting the freebies.

If me and someone else staying in the room go down together, is it only free for one of us i.e. the LoewsFirst platinum member?

the loews member gets it for free.
the other has a charge for using the fitness room.

who knows, maybe they'll charge your friend and maybe they won't....
