We’ve booked RPR club for August. Being from the U.K. and the borders having been closed for so long, I’ve lost track of what is offered in the club room. Has the pancake machine gone? Also in the RPR thread, somebody mentions hot options for breakfast, has anybody else seen this?

We were there in October and there was no pancake machine. There were no hot options for breakfast, hopefully someone there more recently can give more information.

The pancake machine has been gone for a while, it’s not coming back.

No hot options at all except oatmeal if that takes your fancy. We were just there in December.

Thank you. My kids will be so upset about the pancake machine, it was the highlight of their stay (RPR well remembered for it). Is worth doing club at the moment? We last visited in 2018 with trips cancelled in 2020 and 21 and we loved it but the price difference between the standard and club rooms are bit higher now. Not going until August so hoping things will be better by then.

Worth it is hard to answer for others.

We`ve just come back from 2 weeks at RP. The Club Lounge is somewhere we enjoy for the space, breakfast and a few glasses of wine before going out for dinner somewhere, but many folks used it for their evening meals as a family and enjoyed it by all accounts.

Staff are as always lovely and really look after you.

Didn`t see them this time.

They do have a more varied doughnut selection, back to full size ones af varying types.
