Has anyone stayed on the club level? And is it nice? We are takeing the grandkids Oct 28th 2008 to Nov 4 2008. And do you know how to get the best view? Thankyou all so much for all the help, God Bless from Indep Missouri:surfweb:

We stayed at RPR Club Level in March of 2006. We loved it. Our room didn't have a good view but the Club Level itself was great. I would suggest looking through the room assignment thread here and get some ideas of room requests you can make before you check in. You will really love RPR it is a beautiful hotel.

Hi,

We have just returned from RPR club level and had an awesome time. Our room was overlooking the pool and was Room No. 3704. I will defo request this room again. Hope this helps. Maria

We returned yesterday from club level at RPR. Our room was 3735 and overlooked the main road beyond US. We didn't care though, the view from the elevator window was of the pool and the park behind and was great!

I will NEVER go back without staying club! This was absolutely perfect for our family. We could all wake at different times, go grab some b'fast and a drink without waiting on the whole family. This was great with older kids!! I am an early riser, so I could go get my morning started before any of the others ever moved! We didn't have to buy a single drink - which at $2.50 each for water bottles, this saved us tons. We ate b'fast in the lounge, had a nice lunch at the parks and came back for dinner in the lounge. So basically we could afford to eat at nice restaurants during the day because we didn't have to purchase other meals. OH! and a bud light at the pool bar (tip is included automatically) is $6.60!!!! So hubby really liked getting his beer in the lounge. Kerry is FANTASTIC!! We loved our "hosts"!!

Dinner in the lounge was GREAT!! I know that you're not really supposed to be eating dinner, but after a big lunch, we didn't need much to finish the day off. They always had a big main dish, pasta, meat, veggies etc.... cheese & crackers, tortilla chips with salsa etc... It was perfect!

The kids really loved having drinks available all day. This really saved us tons!

Our flight was at 5:10 yesterday and Mears had to pick us up at 1:40 (won't do that again) anyway, we got up, packed, checked out, went to the park, ate at Margaritaville and went back to the lounge to wait for our shuttle. This was great! We didn't have to just sit around in the lobby or what have you. I could check our flight on the PC and the kids could watch TV.

Anyway, I know it was a long post, but I can't say enough about club level and the RPR. We had the best time!! It was truely a relaxing vacation, even with hitting the parks 4 days in a row!!

Thanks so much for the great post..............you have now sold me on club at RPH! Tell me more about what was on offer at the lounge for breakfast and the evening. What drinks do they have? Are they OK about you loading up drinks to take to the pool or back to your room for the rest of the family? Can't wait to see some pictures!!!!:lovestruc

Unfortunatly, I didn't take any pics of the food or the lounge... so sorry! :(

B'fast had fresh fruit, melon, pineapple etc... oatmeal with all the trimmings, tons of different pastries, bagels & toast. This was tough for me becuase I don't do sweets in the morning. I love eggs, bacon etc... but the bagels with cream cheese and toast with butter were just fine. They had individual packs of all different cereals... apples, bananas etc...

B'fast drinks, apple juice & OJ, coffee, milk, canned sodas & water

Sodas, water, tea & coffee were available all day (cans & bottled water). Housekeeping kept our room stocked with Fuji water bottles. (not the big ones which were $7.00) They don't care how many you get a day or how often as far as we could tell. Even gave my hubby extra beer at closing time. He always took a couple back to the room.

After 10:30 - chips, fruit all drinks...

5-7pm: Fresh cut veggie tray with all different dips, some type of side dish, pasta salad, slaw, etc... main dish always hot for us, always some type of meat, pasta, veggie mixed dish... chicken dish, bbq steak dish, stuffed pasta, sometimes they even put out 2 different dishes. Always cheese & crackers (wide variety) chips, salsa, and trimmings... oh and always pb&j sandwiches... They would give these away at 7pm. We always took some back to the room.

8-9:30: sweet treat, cookies etc...

It was all great food, better than Mythos, which we weren't impressed with at all. Way over priced... dishes not even big enough to share (me & 11 yo daughter) .... sorry... lol

We basically just hung out in the lounge from 5-7ish...It was a nice place to cool down, 16 yo son played on the pc, 11 yo daughter watched tv and we weren't all right on top of each other in the room.

I saw corona, bud, bud light... I am not sure what else they had. Sorry I couldn't help more. :(

I don't know about B'days.... But all I did was note on our reservations that it was our anniversary and we received choc. covered strawberries in our room!! It was SOOOO nice. It even came with a nice card. Also saw a lady in the lounge get a cookie cake thing with a candle and all and a lei for her birthday. I don't think any of this was extra... I know the strawberries weren't. Just call the hotel directly and ask your questions, they can direct you to the right place...

We were there in July and had a FABULOUS experience! The concierge staff was wonderful. We celebrated my DD's 8th b-day and they sent her an amazing basket of goodies on her b-day.

Our view was great, it was of the pool and the parks. It truly was a great weekend.

We considered ordering a cake, but the starting price is up to $55.00 and that is for a basic, non-customized, cake. But I've seen some pictures of the customized cakes on here and they are incredible!

thankyou all for all you help. I think this will be the best trip ever for us poor people... We haved saved for years to take the grandkids, and you all have help with all the great info... THANKYOU.. hope to see you all there Oct 29 to Nov 4th 2008 rpr club... We will be the ones with the smiles on our faces!!! God Bkess, From Missouri:happytv:

It seems that many people feel that the club level is worth the extra money....I was doing some pricing for our stay July 2009 and at the moment it looks like the cost is $100 more per night. It just seems like alot of extra money....am I missing something?

We are a family of four and I know we would take advantage of the breakfast.

wow, that sounds great. Has anyone ever tried to upgrade to club level at check in? Wondering if it would be any cheaper than booking it ahead of time. Kind of expensive for my dates about $70 extra per night for 5 nights.
