RPH and HRH walking distances please

We have stayed at HRH before and use to cut thru to US out back by the pool and thru the parking lot but i hear that's blocked off. I'm really struggling with the reservations because of walking distances. My husband hates to trek it to the park once there he's fine. We've been many times but have never stayed at RPH only HRH and PBH. I"m resisting change i guess.LOL We have rooms booked at both and need to cancel one of the ressies. I have a stand queen booked at RPH and another one but it's upgraded to the king ste at RPH with my lowes. At the hard rock all i have is stan queens booked no upgrade so i'm really on the fence and if someone who has experieced the walking could tell me approx walk time that would be great. Thanks so much.

I have not stayed at HRH - only the PB and RPR. The walk from RPR was a lot shorter than the PB walk. We loved it at both resorts! You can always take the water taxi and skip the walk.

the shortcut at hrh was closed off 4 years ago.

i still use it but go out the front and walk around on the sidewalk to where it empties out.

you will see the pool area as you walk by.

I know the old walkway you're talking about at HRH. The current walkway isn't much farther, maybe 2 or 3 minutes more at the most. It's still a shorter walk from HR to US than the walk from RP to IOA.

Don't forget the rickshaws! For a tip, they'll take you from RPR to the edge of CityWalk by Jummy Buffett's. (They're not allowed to go any farther.)

I think the walk from RPR to IOA is about the same as HR to IOA.All though I didn't check with a watch etc. Your upgrade sounds like it is time to try the RPR. Good Luck, Have Fun

The least amount of walking from RPR to the Studios is via the resort bus. The stop is just beyond Tchoup Chop.

We were just there this weekend. We walked from HRH from the left side of the pool area out the gate to the path to US. It took us about 5 mins. And it was a nice pleasant walk. We also tried the boat and that was nice too.

We took the boat over to RPR to check that out since we are staying there in Dec. That walk to the parks took longer. About 10 mins. We timed it lol That was from the farthest park of the resort to Margaritaville.

But again you can do the boat too.

Thanks everyone for the great replies. I cancelled HRH and kepted my RPH since i had the king upgrade! Can't beat that! I can't wait to see RPH i hope i'm not to disappointed over the other two i've visited so many times before.
