5:30 is my regular time to wake up, so I watched it from then until about 6:30 then I left for work at 7:00. Good thing there was not much traffic, so I got into work and watched it again. The main thing I was looking forward to was the kiss and so happy to have been able to witness this as I too did see Diana and Charles marry, oh so many years ago.
DH said it was like a fairy tale wedding and this coming from someone who was not 'interested' in anything of this until y/day.
For some reason, watching the crowds walk behind the police to the palace reminded me of rope drop
thats exactly what I was thinking when I saw them. Entertainment tonight named them and their mother as worst dressed...that reminds me...I'll have to catch Fashion Police...they're doing a Royal Wedding edition...Joan Rivers is brutal yet hilarious.

I don't think their mother was even at the wedding (at least not according to the news outlets I saw). Maybe the paparazzi photoshopped her into some unflattering pictures.
I loved all the shots of the Abbey. I had no idea how big & beautiful it is. And trees inside??!! I was in awe! I'd love to see it in person one day.

The trees were only brought in for the wedding at Kate's request. I saw them being taken into the Abbey the other day on tv (I think it was Good Morning America or the Today Show).

I have to remember to watch that too! I couldn't believe how many people had on horrible looking hats & terrible outfits! Everyone's dresses were sooo expensive yet sooo ugly & plain
When they were talking on the news about "the big fashion" being the hats, I couldn't wait to see them all! I used to look at hats in my grandma's magazines so I was excited to see the different ones that the Royal family would have on. I was disappointed.
Watched some of it this morning, but kept dozing off, now watching the re-runs!
I teared up watching her walk down the aisle, very moving. I wish they would re-play the hymn Jerusalem sung by the choir. It was beautiful.
I was up in time to see the Prince's heading to the church. Kate looked amazing!
I couldn't get over the "step sister's" also. Beatrice had so much eye makeup on... it was a 11:00 am wedding!!! And that hat? Yikes
Her sister looked like she was wearing a couch pattern. It's too bad, for 2 young women they certainly made bad wardrobe choices!!

Woke up at 3am with my mother to watch the whole broadcast and I'm very happy I did. Just to increase the experience I made tea and cucumber sandwichs and scones with cream and we had a very early little breakfast.
