Royal Wedding ... who watched it?

Still watching, although I did not get up at 4 to start watching. DD (3) came down just as they were leaving the church in her Cinderella shoes and with her CRT wand and says "She is a REAL Princess" and then to DH she says "Dad, come see a REAL princess! Her dress is so pretty!"

It was adorable!

I remember waking up early to watch Diana with my Mom when I was 4. It was fun to watch part of it with DD this morning.

Yes--DH got up at 3 a.m. to watch the coverage on CTV. I managed to pry my eyelids open at about 3:30 a.m. to join him. Lovely wedding!

My DH has to be up at 4:30 for work, so he woke me and I grabbed the coffee and sat in front of the tv and watched and am still watching. I watched Princess Diana marry and now to see William marry was wonderful. Kate looked beautiful and the dress was gorgeous.

Beautiful wedding with such a radiant couple. I also watched Diana & Charles marry so it was nice to see Kate & William marry too. Didn't plan to be up to watch it (so early on PDT) but stuff happened. Glad I saw it.

I usually wake up with the kids to let my wife sleep in. Today when the kids woke up at 5:30am my wife jumped out of bed and let me sleep in. I wish there was a royal wedding every day.

I normally get up at 5:30am for daycare kids. So I woke up DD11 so she could watch the weddding. Did that ever make her morning!

The only problem is her memory issues. She kept forgetting Kate's name and calling her Princess Di. She wasn't even born when Princess Di died, so I can't figure out how that name got stuck in her mind. I finally wrote "William & Kate" on her hand so she'd remember the correct names at school

I loved all the shots of the Abbey. I had no idea how big & beautiful it is. And trees inside??!! I was in awe! I'd love to see it in person one day.

OMG! I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that image pop into her mind! These are the two ladies who sat behind the Queen and Prince Philip during the ceremony, right? With the weird hats? (I'm not up-to-date on who's who in the Royal Family). I was just so surprised that they did not look as groomed & polished as everyone else did. I thought everyone looked great, but not them.

I missed the entire thing! I usually get up quite early, but slept in today until 7:30! I saw some shots of her getting out of the car and the kiss and all, but I'm hoping they will replay a good portion of it later on. I am going to google the Princesses, though to see what you all are talking about!
