Royal rooms

Does any one have a favorite building or room they request when staying at POR in the royal rooms? We usually stay in a preferred room in AB. We like to be close to the main building and CS restaurant. Any recommendations? Thanks!

I've been staying in the royal rooms the past 3 trips and they are my favorite! I always request Building 90 Oak Manor. I usually book a garden view room, and request to be on the river side of the building and not the parking lot side. All 3 trips, I've had a great room each time! My room this past November was a corner room, on the 2nd floor, facing the quiet pool (never heard any noise) and it was right near the foot bridge.. so the walk to the main building was only 2-3 minutes. I also always used the south depot and that was just a short walk.

On our last trip we stayed in Oak Manor in room #9090. It was a great location! It was on the first floor. We just had to walk around the quiet pool, a few steps, across the bridge and we were at the main building. It was our first stay on that side of the resort. We have been staying in Alligator Bayou. I now have a new favorite spot at POR! You are going to love the royal rooms!

We have stayed in Oak Manor and we request the 2nd floor. The building is great and a convenient location to the pools, depots, and the main building. We think it is the prettiest mansion too, but that's just our personal opinion. We also like the 2nd floor because we think there is less foot traffic past our room.

Another vote for RR's in Oak manor! We like to book pool view, that way you are going to be close to the foot bridge to go the main building for dining, shops, Yee Haa Bob, etc.

These rooms are a bit expensive, but still are very nice to see at least once.

Personally, I find the preferred rooms in AB a bit more convenient and like the regular mansion rooms just as much considering the price. However, I am glad that I have stayed in the RR and may well do so again.
