Royal Rooms?????

For 350 more I can stay at a Royal Room at POR. My question is it really worth it. Do the kids really love it? Is it really far from food court and pool?? Money not being the issue, just don't want to be real far from everything and wondering if kids really think it is neat? Thanks!

Looking at the map. You're only a bridge away. I would ask to be placed closer to the bridge instead of the other side of the bldg. When you cross the bridge, you will pass the Lobby, then the shop, and to the food court. You're not far from the bus stop either.

Ps.. I think it's neat! I would stay there! I love the decor! I like those cute Genie lamp fausets. I love those pictures of the other Princesses. I love the headboards! I love the movie, "Princess and the Frog," so this theme is up in my alley. If money is no issue, most definitely I'd stay here!

I say they are worth it! We were there in March. My DD10 and DS8 really liked them and so did DH and I. They still smelled like fresh paint and new carpet! We had a waterview in Oak Manor. That put us right next to the quiet pool and very close to the bridge. We were a little farther from the main pool, but still only about a 5 minute walk. My kids actually preferred the quiet pool though. If you get a RGR with a standard or garden view you could be farther from the bridge, but, like I said, probably never more than 5 minutes from anything.

Our DD's LOVED the room and still talk about it from our trip last month. It's about a 5 minute walk to main bldg/FC and pool, and a very scenic stroll.
