Royal Plaza - View rooms?

I am looking into the Royal Plaza and noticed they have price differences for the type of room - not the view. Don't some of the rooms look out onto the highway?? Can you request a room that doesn't? Also, is it better to have a tower room?

I honestly don't know what view they gave us, it was a cheap rate, last minute room. They put us on a higher floor, so while we were basically looking at downtown disney, we were well above it and could see out over Orlando..it was great.
