Royal Parc Suites?

Just browsing on Bookit.com and they had an awesome deal for this hotel and it actually looks pretty neat. Says it's 1 mile from disney, new orleans themed, decent sized pool and landscaping.... Anyone ever stayed there?

So this place sounded great based on my reading on this board BUT if you go over to trip advisor, the recent reviews are BAD, BAD, BAD!

Bummer because I thought I had found our place!

Any recent input?

We booked a one night stay here last August, but didn't like it at all. We got a really cheap rate and when we checked in we realised why. Our room was dark and dingy, outside corridors, smokers all over the place, and to cap it all, when we looked out of our bedroom window, we could see the Comfort Suites at Maingate East where we had stayed the week before. We had really enjoyed this hotel, and this was enough to convince us that we were in the wrong hotel.
To cut a long story short, we spent the night at the Comfort Suites and I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel.

We have friends who are staying there right now. This is what she told me...It's not what is pictured on the website. The theming isn't as elaborate as they say. The room smells of smoke and even thought maintenance has been helpful (changing fan filters, spraying for smoke) the smell remains. BUT she got a 2BR/2B suite with a kitchenette big enough for 3 adults and 2 tweens for less than $125/nt so she's not really complaining. Access to Disney property isn't bad about 3 miles to World Drive, then easy access to all the parks. 15 minutes drive time. Lot's of chain restaurants within walking distance. Celebration is just around the corner if you want more upscale dining.
She's a little disappointed, but wouldn't slam the place.

The room we were given was clean enough, it was just old and scruffy. We were much happier at the Comfort Suites - nice pool, free hot breakfast, and a fantastic view from our room overlooking all the attractions of Old Town and the fireworks at Disney in the distance.

I was thinking about staying there as well but started to not here great things, soo i ended up booking at Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista we go in may but heres the trip advisor http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re..._Suites_Lake_Buena_Vista-Orlando_Florida.html They are ranked 34 out of 341 in orlando so im hoping there not too bad (fingers crossed)

She said it was clean and the beds were OK. Her comment was it's a Quality Inn not the Hilton and she was expecting a little more from what the website portrayed. There was nothing really wrong with it. It just didn't live up to what she expected, but when she looks at it like a Quality Inn, it's fine.

We stayed there three times in 2010 ~ May, October and December.
Yes, it is a Quality Inn, but it was clean. The views from our windows wasn't great, but if I wanted to sit and look out the window, I wouldn't go to Kissimmee. We had no complaints and felt the hotel was a good deal fro the price payed. (Personally, I have never stayed at a hotel that lived up to the internet pictures.)
