Royal Pacific...

It's very nice. I have some pics, I'll upload them in the next day or so.

We enjoyed our meal when we were there in June. Our server, Matt, was excellent. We had the special - fish and chips, and it was very good.

We sat in the kids area and had a visit from Scooby and Shaggy (a Monday night). Our girls had a great time.

It wasn't busy at all.

We always eat in it a few times, food is excellent, and never disappointed.

What about the prices, kids meals, characters? Do you need reservations? Is is counter or table service?

thanks

I think we had the Breakfast buffet there - food was exceptional, but the price was

Enjoy Pacific casual cuisine, along with traditional menu items and a scrumptious breakfast buffet. Islands Dining Room features indoor and outdoor seating in tropical surroundings. Islands serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and features nightly entertainment, character dining on select evenings and a special children's buffet, plus it's own Bali-style play area for children.

Thank you for the menu links that really helped. It does not look over the top expensive. Do I need to make reservations - we are looking at going one of the night the characters are there.

Thanks

I called just the other day. I was told that the only ressie you needed was for dinner. You can make that ressie 30 days out. Hope that helps.:goodvibes

You should not need a reservation ,we where there the first 3 weeks in July, and where able to walk into the Islands at anytime without a reservation, it is usually pretty quiet even at the busiest times for some reason.

We had dinner at the Islands Dining Room on Tuesday without a reservation, but many people who were there for the same conference and came in after us couldn't get a table. It doesn't hurt to have reservations.

There was a kids buffet that had chicken tenders, pizza, fruit, salad and macaroni & cheese. The menu was a little fancy for my taste, but the waiter allowed us to order off of the menu from Jake's Bar across the hall.

The breakfast buffet was nice. I'm big on fresh fruit, so I loved the pineapple, stawberries and yogurt. There was also french toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes with onions, and a pastry bar with boxed cereal too.

I don't think drinks were included in the price of the breakfast buffet, but they let my son have free refills of chocolate milk, which is rare these days. There was a nice lady there named Euleilie (I'll never forget that name!) and she was always smiling and singing and got us drink refills when our waiter didn't. :)
