ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT INFO...FAQ and more......

Room request question. We will have two kiddos in tow (ages 13/10) and our priorities for location would be near the pool area or near water transport to the parks. What's the best spot for us? We have a standard room booked.

Hey musika,

Tower 3 is closest to the water taxi`s and for the pool T1 and T3 are closest, but there`s not a huge walk from any of the towers :wave2:

Hi y’all! Just booked our first trip back to Universal since 2016. We’re staying at RPR. We used to always stay there but it has been so long since our last visit, I’m wondering if there are any big changes to the resort we should know about. Also wondering if our express passes are linked to our room key? Do we just scan those at ride entrances?

I’m having trouble with the app since we didn’t book directly through universal so I can’t link our hotel and tickets on there. I hope this won’t pose a problem.

Yes, your room keys are your express passes, you just scan those at the rides. Some rides are now doing facial scanning for EP also. They're also your early entry credentials, they'll look at the dates on the bottom for that.

You can pick up a hard copy of the tickets at the RP ticket desk if you want.
Thanks for the info. I think I do have to pick up hard copies of our tickets to be able to link them to the app. They were purchased through a 3rd party vendor.

Last time we were at WDW we had birthday treats delivered and a breakfast box from one of the bakeries. The person we used says they don’t deliver to Universal. Do y’all have a bakery you can recommend to have goodies delivered to the hotel? Thanks!

I had some custom treats delivered from Cheat Day Factory in Orlando a couple years ago. Not sure if they still do, but they have a website and you can ask. They only have sweets though and no breakfast boxes.

I am not familiar with the local delivery, but if you don't mind going in person, try Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Voodoo Doughnut at CityWalk. There are also intricate desserts inside the parks as well.

The Cake Bake Shop at Disney's Boardwalk Inn has a lot of lovely treats if you ever go that way.

I can’t wait to try Toothsome! We are doing a split stay so I am definitely trying The Cake Bake Shop, as well.

There are some home bakers/ small businesses in Orlando that deliver breakfast boxes to Disney hotels with Mickey waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, etc. Kind of a continental breakfast box to have in the room while getting ready for the day. My go-to baker doesn’t deliver to RPR but I think I may have found one that does. The breakfast boxes are really convenient and a time saver when you are trying to make it to early entry at the parks.
