Royal Pacific - January 2013?

I tried calling the hotel to book (checking in 1/9) and was told that you can only book through 1/5. Does this sound right? The person I spoke with said it would be a few weeks yet before we can book for a check in date of 1/9. I am used to getting vacations planned a bit farther out!
