Hi, I just booked our room at the RP for Aug. 11-15, at 149.00 a night, with the fan club discount. We also have the AP, and the loews first card. Could someone tell me what the entertainment card is, where I can get one, and what the rates may be???? I'd really appreciate any info.

You can call and get the rates and availability for entertainment rate 1-800 BE A STAR

If available you can go to www.entertainment.com and order a book (now $10.00 plus shipping) good until Nov 1, 2003

Wendy you can book the same thing online for $146.00 not sure what the $3.00 a night difference. Try Hotelkingdom they have your dates for a standard at $134.25 a night.

Hi, I went to the link you provided for the ent. book, I'm not sure where I'm suppose to look, but I can't find one for 10.00, do I get the florida book, which is not listed at 10.00 or what do I do....... I'm sorry this sounds so dumb but, I'm just not sure.

OK........... I got it!!!! I just ordered my book, and called to change my reservation.......... it went from 146 a night to 110!!!! I'm so excited...........

It doesn't look like i'm getting that great of a rate. I have a family of four, which includes, my husband, myself, and 2 kids, 11 and 15. My rate for RPH from July 17-21 is 665.00. The fourth night is free. I have the mastercard vacation package. Any suggestions, at this late date? I would appreciate any advice. This is our first trip and I'm very new to the boards.

Hi, I found out how to get everything, then I called and asked which one I got the best rate with. I have an AP, Loews First Member, Fan Club, and Ent. book......... even military, and the BEST rate I was quoted was 110. a night, with the ent. book card. It cost 10.00 now, I ordered mine yesterday. Then called back the hotel, and changed my fan club rate to the ent. book rate, from 146 to 110....... with 5 people saving as much as possible is GOOD!!!

Good Luck......... OH, we are staying Aug. 11-15th, so that may have something to do with it as well.

I do not see where to purchase $10 book. The Orlando book for $35 is sold out. Is this the one that I need. I would sure appreciate the help. Thanks!

You do not need to purchase the Orlando edition. Get the one for your local area you can use the card in the book for hotels nationwide.

Right, I just found out that you can purchase any book......... they all have the discount. The orlando book for 35.00 is sold out, they had discounted it to 10.00, when you click the buy button, it came up for 10.00 + 5.00 for shipping......... I just barely got one, the following day I saw that they were sold out!!! I wanted the orlando one, to use at rest. etc.... on our trip.
I don't know if they all come up for 10.00 or not but If I were you, I'd get one !!!! My room rate went from 146 with the fan club disc. to 110.00 with the ent. disc.

A&R........ I didn't notice before, but I'm from Baton Rouge. When is your trip?? We are going in Aug. But, please get the book, it's the best rate I've seen ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are from Shreveport! We get down to Baton Rouge quite a bit, (Geaux Tigers!) so I purchased the book for that area. I called and they changed my room rate at RP to $110. We will be there August 2-6!!!!! I am so excited!!!! Thanks everyone for your help!!

SUPER!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you got your rate changed!! We are actually in Saint Amant, most people don't know where that is-- about 10 min. from LSU........ Geaux Tigers....... I'll have my own tiger soon, my oldest graduates hs next year!! Our trip is from aug. 11-15, and I was so glad to get that rate too.

Hello wendypooh and A&R, I'm from that neck of the woods as well. I live in Zachary. As I stated in an earlier post, my trip is July 17-21. I'm going to try and get my hands on one of those 2 for 1 coupons. I have the fan club card already. I just want to make sure that I'm getting the best deal. It's good to talk to fellow Louisianian's on the boards.

Hey, I don't know what your rate is, but you should call and ask what the rate for the ent. book is........... if it's lower then I'd buy one. I got my rate changed from 146 to 110....... aug. 11-15. I was able to get the orlando book, which is sold out now, for 10.00 + 5.00 shipping..... and I know that you can use the book/card from any area and get the discount. So, if you bought one from any city you could use it. I'm not sure if they are all 10.00, but it's worth a try. especially if the rate goes down.


As far as the ap/ 2 for1 thing, someone called univ. and was told that it is open to anyone with the code from bk. however, only bk's in fl. seem to have them.......... someone else also said the codes are all the same, so, I'm assuming someone will post them here. I called my grandma in daytona and she's going to get one for me. then, I'm going to buy my ap's online.

If you can't get one any other way, just go to bk once you get there and get the coupon, apparently even if you buy the ap, you can upgrade it with the coupon at a later date, but before the coupon expires........ I think in sept. ( but don't quote me on that) the info for it is on the universal site.

Anyway............. geez, it looks like i'm writing a book, but I hate reading a post and not "getting" what the person is talking about!!
Have a great trip, and hopefully you can get a lower rate........ you can make any changes to your resv. at any point!!!! Good Luck....

Just a note, got my bk coupon and bought my 2 for 1 ap online. my dh is happy!!! apparently all the numbers are the same, look under another post on this topic and you'll see the number.......... anyone can use it!!!! Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!
