My sister is considering a Club Level stay at RPH, but her daughter has a peanut allergy. We're wondering how well informed the lounge attendants are about food ingredients, and if they'd be able to find out if anything had peanuts/tree nuts or had been processed in a facility with nuts.

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!

i know they had nuts out in the lounge room when i was there.

i'm sure the TM's working there could tell you what items of food contain nuts so you would be able to avoid them.

i suggest they contact the hotel in advance so you would know if club lounge would be worth it for them.

if they are going and planning to utilize the lounge for food and snacks, and there were a lot of items the daughter could not have, it might not be worth the extra cost then.

I'm pretty sure they also had peanut butter cookies.

The food is at a self-service buffet. I would think that the guests might get
the nuts and the crumbs from nut products into the food without nuts.

yea, that's right.
all of it is self serve and the TM's would not be aware of that if something cross contaminated another food.

forgot about the cookies........
