Hey Micksterlee...What floor and room were you in at the Hard Rock? Someone told my DH that the ice machine on our floor was out of ice a lot too. We were in room 6092.

We had connecting rooms on the 3rd floor 3118 and 3120.I think it was people filling coolers that used up all the ice several times I saw people with huge coolers filling them up with ice. Even at that I think for what you pay a night they should keep the ice flowing.
 
fyi...we bought the bealls bogof last year too. we picked them up in Feb. with no problems....of course, Bev WAS there :rolleyes1




(and to our surprise they didn't automatically activate Dec. 31...they are good for 2 years from activation date...ours don't expire till 2/2/2009 :banana: )
 
Walgreens had a coupon good until end of June/beginning of July good for BOGO year free.

We needed to upgrade existing $85 tix that we purchased thru AAA back in March before the BOGO AP offer came out.

We presented the coupon, our tix & PA driver's licenses @ Studios guest services. TM indicated that they didn't care whether we were FL residents or not (despite what indicated on the coupon - a relief!).

TM had to ask co-worker for help, issued a couple different sets of tix before she was satified w/the results.

I noticed that the back of the tix only indicated 12 month AP and questioned her. She repeatedly stated that the tix were, indeed, 24 month passes.

Next day @ DIS meet, I asked Barb to show me the back of her tix. It did state 24 month AP. Alarmed, i went directly to IOA Guest Services and explained my deliema.

At 1st the TM was hesitant since I had no proof, other than my receipt that merely stated AP upgrade. I used my trump card (mentioned the name of my DIS bud:thumbsup2 ) and all was well. They even fixed DH & DS passes (who were snoozing in the room @ that point).

All's well that ends well I suppose; guess i'm just too trusting. Just hated to appear butt-head like when getting the tix upgraded - thought the TM had it worked out.:confused3DH calls me his bulldog - i'm trying hard to be a kinder, gentler soul...karma & all that entails 'ya know...not sure how long it's gonna last lol.

FYI - while the Walgreens is now expired, as of 2 weeks ago both RCI via their website & AAA South had the same offer. Know there are threads referencing the links.
 

YIKES! TWELVE of us will be booking four rooms either at the Hard Rock or RP in February...Our plane won't be arriving until after midnight....Are you saying because we are getting in late...we may not have our rooms...even though we paid for them? I've never heard of that before! That could possibly happen? :sad2: :sad1: :confused: :headache:

Make sure the hotel knows when you will be arriving. We've arrived after midnight a few times and check in has been a breeze.

Hopefully, what has happened to Keisha is just a fluke and she will soon find out what the heck went on there and make sure that the staff realizes that people of the message boards are now concerned that this may happen to them and are worried.
 
Yes...I will make sure that I let them know. I believe that when I have made reservations directly with the hotels (Disney) before...and not on line, I have informed the hotel as to when we are supposed to arrive....

Surely...it was...as you said....some sort of a fluke....:confused3
