Royal hall with someone using DAS

I'm curious to know since meet n greets at Disneyland don't use LL like at wdw, how would this work if a person that uses DAS visits a meet n greet location like royal hall, Anna and Elsa, mickeys house? Like can you really get a return time or have 1 person stand in line and then the rest of the party can join as they get closer? How does this work for Disneyland's set meet n greet spots?
If it makes a huge difference I'm just asking since I am curious that's all.
