For the Royal DOlphin Swim at Dolhpin Discovery - Is there somewhere secure closeby to leave your valuables while doing this program ? And can the Video/photo be purchased with a credit card, or US travellers cheques? Thanks !

They provide lockers, and you get the key. I was nervous, but turned out for nothing! I purchased the photos (all of them) with a credit card. Strange to see all those pesos on my statement, but it worked out with no problem. Enjoy the swim! It is wonderful!

No problem with the locker. Don't forget to buy the video. It is superb because you see everybody.

Can you believe that we had a lady in our group who only kiss the dolphins. She didn't want to go in the water because she was afraid of the fish.

The Royal swim is wonderful. Do it and enjoy....

A question about tipping the "tour Guide" - In Australia tipping is not a general practice, but I want to do the right thing while we are overseas - do I tip the "tour Guide/instructor" at the swim, and if so how much

How good of a swimmer do you have to be to participate in this program? Do you wear life vests or anything? How deep is the water?

How many people are in the group with you at one time?

You do wear life vests. The water is pretty deep. As you swim out to the dolphin the guide will help you. My DS10 did fine. As we were leaving our tour guide actually told us that he would be happy to accept tips! We had just a fantastic time that we did tip him. I guess they have to let people know because they are not sure if they should tip. We bought the video and laughed until our sides hurt. Do buy photos and the video or you will regret it later!
