royal dolphin swim in cozumel

has any one done the royal dolphin swim at the Chankanaab National Marine Park in cozumel? disney offers the encounter for the same price but disney provides the transportation to the park has any one done this excursion on theri own with this company?and was it worth it. which excursion should our group do

We did the Royal Swim on our own. It is very easy to catch a cab to the park. We had no problems at all with pre-booking the swim, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the swim over the encounter. It is an experience of a lifetime. With the encounter all you get to do is stand on a platform and touch the dolphins. With the swim, you actually get to swim in the water with them. They have you go in groups of two, and do various tricks with the dolphins. I say definately go for the swim.
