I just PM'd you as I haven't heard anything back on #4 warranty yet. I'll be at WDW in 4 weeks and will send bring it home with me (I'll leave #3 in it's place). We can go from there if that is ok with you. If nothing else, I will ship it to you or I can just ship it to INSTEP on my expense (DH can ship it from his work place for about $25.00) and once they send you...we can get it back to WDW. Sound like a plan?

Parkers Momma, I have stroller 2 with me here at Disney in my room... The rip in the seat seems as though it is getting bigger, through the patch. I will not be using it the rest of the week, is there anything you want me to do to/for it? My DD is 5, and 42 pounds, so it's not as though a had too much weight, just that it already had a tear

JGoin - how bad is it? The rip sounds bad. I'm taking it after the person that is following you. Is it on one side, or both? I have a 20 lb toddler, but I can keep my 42 lb big boy out of it if it is still usable on one side.

It's still usable, but I didn't want to make it worse... I had a single umbrella as well, so I am using it instead. I have pics, but can't email them until I get back home. The denim patch isn't holding.

I have the stroller #2 after JGoin and before MonkersMama. I have a almost 2 year old and a small 5 year old (she is just 32 pounds). I wonder if there is something I should bring with me to try to help fix the problem. Any ideas? Not much time left...Can't wait!!

Maybe you didn't respond because I haven't fulfilled my 75 post quota, but now that I just got back from camping today, I am going to snap right to that and should have that in no time. I addressed it in the PM I sent you too.

Hopefully I can stroller sit for Nov 7-14

After sending instep photos and receipt of the stroller this was their response:

Thank you for the information. Please reply back with the model number and date made and we will process a return for the unit. We will then arrange a date for FedEx to pick it up and bring it back for inspection so we can replace it under warranty.​

It looks like they want the old stroller back first. Please advise if you want them to pick it up from DW and where it will be.

Hello Swappers. I got a PM from Maddi asking me to ship the old #5 down to JanUK. I sent JanUK a PM asking where to ship it to but haven't heard back. Does anyone have any information on this?

Also, I haven't heard anything about what to do with the warranty claim for the new (yet broken) #5. See the quoted post above. I just need to know what to tell Instep. They want the model # and the date made. This information is on the stroller itself. If someone could please get me that info I can relate it back to Instep. I do not check this thread everyday so a PM will get to me faster. Thanks!

DebraW75.....I do not have any info on the shipping of old #5 back down to WDW.
The user name does not match any of the swappers using the stroller in the next month in any of the RC swaps.
I will be in WDW from August 27th - sept 3rd if you would like to ship it to me.
I will be sitting the other #5 so I can ship it back to whoever it goes to.

The person who agreed to exchange everything is jenok0426. Heaven only knows what I typed in the PM, as things are CRAZY around here.

I feel horrible about not being on the thread much but life has taken a lot of left turns lately. As some of you may know, DH has a heart condition and recently started having problems again. This time they are talking a quad by-pass so there has been test after test. Another one today . Dh is adament about still going to WDW and FINALLY the DR gave consent but not without a lot of stipulations. No water parks, no impact rides (roller coasters, no tea-cups, nothing that jolts the body) no up close fireworks, lost of rest time, ECV, etc. BUt hey we are still going--now to get him to listen while we are there.

Plus on Friday night a new grandson--NOLAN YANCE was born at 12:15, 9# 9oz, 22" long, all fingers and toes and lots of jet black hair.

In a few minutes, more test for Dh.

And Sunday, I have a 2.5 hr road trip one way--MY SON HAS A 10 DAY LEAVE!!

But I have been trying to answer swappers questions in PMs. I hope I haven't missed anyone.

DEBRAW76--I'll PM jenok0426 and let her know you need her information. She is arriving on the 19th but since you leave so close by, it shouldn't take it long to get to here.

Disneynutts777--If you don't mind, please get the information for DebraW76. The two between now and you are simply to hard to get hold of online.

To all others asking about joining the swap. Until I get things under control with all of the stroller, I'm not comfortable with adding anyone. I will be there in 4 weeks and will be fixing everything possible at that time. Once I evaluate the strollers conditions, deciding what ones I am leaving and which ones I am bringing home, I will add more swappers for the end of the year--IF NEEDED AND POSSIBLE. My top concern is the current swappers--I want to make sure there will be strollers available for them since they had paid to purchase or repair the strollers before the "BIG CHANGE" on Disboards.

To those in the swap: Trust me, I haven't abandon the thread--just running circles in real life. I'm sorry I kind put the swap as not a #1 priority as I have in the past but it is still a priority just #3 right now. I'm not giving up on this swap. It will make it to the end of the year!!!

Jenna,

you will need to contact the person before you and after you in the swap and exchange information on who and where you will have the swap take place. Post #1 has some great information in it and that should help you out.
