Royal carriage swap-#1 STROLLER-MISSING-FOUND-MISSING AGAIN

We are using RC#2 for our vacation. I do not mind at all helping out with things needed. However, we will not be there until July 3rd. If there is something that I can do to help out, please let me know. I wish there was more I could do right now....things seem to be really stressful for you. Keeping my fingers crossed that all works out and things are running smoothly again in no time.

Hi I am using stroller #2 right now I received from Haganfam5 as she stated it had a rip in the seat I went out and bought a sewing kit and sewed the seat together while my kids and dh were at the pool the first night it is holding up good right now, I have used it for 5 days now and haven't had a problem. I will leave the sewing kit in the rain bag for mompoppins at the boardwald and hopefully everything will get to her. It wasn't that hard to sew I went threw it twice because I really needed the stroller so hopefully it will be good for everyone after me, if not the sewing kit will be in the bag in case it needs to be retouched. I won't be checking my e-mail until i get home on wednesday so hopefully there are no questions. Thanks. Just wanted to give an update of what I did to it to salvage it for now.

DH just heard from #2 swapper and she has dropped off the stroller at the Boardwalk for us. A bit of confusion since I accidentally gave her our November reservation number instead of our May one!

It is all worked out now and we will be picking the stroller up on Saturday am. We were driving in early and picking it up tomorrow but my little girl has something at school she has to do so we will not be there now until Saturday, but it should not be a problem. The swapper has connected the stroller to our name on the reservation and its only for a few days before we get it.

We are heading to Disney in 2 more sleeps! DD 14 has progressive hearing loss so she is no longer allowed to fly. We have been driving since 2002 and it has not been to bad, it just takes us longer to get there. We bought a new conversion van, Chevrolet Express, with all the extras so they can play WII, MP3 and watch Videos so the ride down with 5 kiddos isn't to bad.

I will remove you from the swap but I'm sorry, there isn't anything left. Currently, when the new seats and wheels come in..it's completely out of my pocket.

I wish I could simply refund everyone thier money but I'm not able to as there isn't anything left.

Hi they put everything in a new envelope with your husbands and your name, since they couldn't find you in the system. Got a little nervous when they said you weren't coming in until November, thank god your husband answered the phone the second time I called. I was just going to leave it at pop because I didn't know what else to do. Thank goodness for DH's. Hopefully everything is set. I put the raincover and sewing kit in the back pouch in case it needs to be reinforced. Hopefully it doesn't fall out, I reinforced the velcro before I gave it to bell services, there is no bag for this stroller. I double up the sewing when I did it so hopefully it will hold up until the new seat comes in, if not it was really easy to get the needle threw the fabric, thought it was going to be a lot harder. It took me more time to get the thread threw the needle I guess my eyes need to be reexamined. I hate doing that part. Well hopefully it will last and you won't have to do it again. Stroller worked great, the front wheel sometimes bobs around a lttle once in a while but mainly it was a smooth ride all the way. Have a great trip.

My trip was great can't wait to plan another one have to wait until my Dh gets enough frequent flyer miles before we do it again. About 4 trips to China will do the trick. The weather got lousy Monday and Tuesday, be ready for thunderstorms, bring your ponchos. Everyday next week they are calling for thunderstorms, sometimes they come and other times they don't. The crowds werent that bad, you can tell a lot more people were checking in when we left. Probably because southern schools are letting out and Memorial Day weekend. It is definately hot too, couldn't wait for a cloud to pass by, bring a mister bottle, we actually did Blizzard Beach one day because it was so hot. A nice lady gave us two free child tickets it was great only had to pay for us adults. We passed the disney love though, my DD wanted a ballon really bad and we got her one didn't want to bring it on the airplane with the pressure difference, our chip bags filled up with a lot of air, could have got interesting with a balloon, so told Dh to give it to a child checking in, one family had to DD about DD age so he gave it to them. They were so happy running around the lobby with it. Have a great trip.
