I can't remember but there is also a resort where they show movies outside and make smores...lots of fun.

Anyone remember which resort that is...it's out on the beach if I remember correctly. Heck, I think it is right down by beaches and cream.

I've seen here on the boards that Contemporary and BC/YC show movies on the beach.

You see - afraid 2 days at MK is not enough - with lil' ones! Should we skip going to AK all together and instead have a 3rd day at MK and then a down day again with no parks?? The late night I want to be sure we don't have to be up early the next morning. Eeeek! How would you TWEAK my plans??

I don't think you should skip AK at all. My DS was 14 months old at AK and loved it! He loved seeing the animals on the safari, Finding Nemo the Musical was great, and Festival of the Lion King was his favorite. He was in such awe and amazement, he was oohing and aahing, almost grunting with excitement. It was this attraction that gave me the "Magical First Disney Moment" that I had been hoping for. I never expected him to "enjoy" until he was a bit older, the trip was more for us. I expected his first moment to be when he was 3 (this year). Nope! I wouldn't ever miss FoLK again. It is a must do forever, even if only to bring me back to that moment.

Picabo...a hint for AK. If you are doing Donald's breakfast..do it before rope drop. As soon as you have finished eating, head to the African Safari. If you aren't eating breakfast, as soon as rope drops go to the Safari. The best time to see the animals is at opening. They are right along the road! Almost all the animals we out and up close. In fact, the rhinos were standing in the middle of the road and our truck had to wait on them to move. WONDERFUL PICS! I've done the safari every year since they have opened AK but never at opening. It's a must do first thing now!

Ft Wilderness Campgrounds does this every night with Chip and Dale (I beleive it's them!). You can buy the stuff to make smores for just $2 and sing songs with Chip and Dale and then they show movies afterwards. Sounds fun if my kids were a bit older and lasted longer at night!! haha

Thanks for the list of things at the Poly! That's great info! My girls will LOVE daily arts and crafts and my older daughter especially will loev Hula Dancing! haha

OK so is 2 full days of MK enough????

No... it was a boxed set that I treated myself to while at WDW with the DD's in August. I got it at the store in DTD that is attached to the art store. I cannot remember the name. I am glad you liked it

The Beach Club and the Beach club villas do this. It is a blast. SSR also plays movies at night at the main pool. No smores though.

HAHAHA, I actually was disappointed today. Each time the phone rang...I was hoping it was him. It definitely added excitement to my day.

I can't believe they still do international day...I did it when I was in scouts many many moons ago. Funny thing is, that is still one of my fondest moments in scouting...sampling all the food, learning the culture, meeting scouts from all over NW Ohio.

I just finished sewing and put all the girls stuff in bags and labeled them.. left off the pockets... they dont need pockets

I have 7 of the "cakes" baked. I am going to try to get 4-6 more done tomorrow. Watch me come home with a lot.

Swaps are done.. just have to finish the poster board and make a check list of everythign i need to bring. I hope its easier next year. We usually do themes.. last year it was movies, year before was holiday.. I had to get the country this year that was hard. We also usually do it in April.

I am beat.. oh.. and I have ot go 8:30 saturday morning to help sort 11,000 boxes of gs cookies and 888 of them belong to my troop

sniff sniff...I didn't get asked about cookies this year. It was the first time since I've been married. All the kids I knew selling them grew up. I guess that is good for the diet but I WANT MY MINTS!
