OK, now that is out of the way. I'm hoping this doesn't offend anyone but I'm trying my best to keep on top of this plus home life.
In the month or two before I went to WDW, I averaged 5-8 requests and thought I had everyone down plus accurate notes on those who might be added when I returned. When stroller #1 went missing...I had to re-arrange ALL 5 swaps to accomidate the current swappers.
Yes, there were a few swappers in the week prior request and I wanted to see condition of the strollers. Which I did, updated those that I could, and asked those who were requesting to contact me when I got back. I've been back home for weeks (seems like months--I need my fix again). And all the requests are coming in today for Oct. 26th-30th.
Not trying to be disrespectful...but 10 days before the date? I guess I should have contacted everyone who sent an PM but that would have meant 50+ PMs at the least. I guess I assumed (yes, I should never assume) that if someone really wanted the stroller, understood how the swap worked, that they would contact me again about the stroller once I arrived back home to find out the condition of the stroller, if it was available and if they could nab their dates..
I had several who did and they were immediately put in the swap...disneycountrygirl...Robbinsgirls3...momto3dizkidz...gilliansmommy just to name a few who were on top of the game and right here. Those that didn't PM to find out the conditions or PM me...well either you were lost in the shuffle as I came home to a maxed out PM box or I missed adding you. I do apologize if that is the case...but I am trying my best to keep this going AND work as many hours I can to provide for our family. For those who aren't familiar with our situation. Dh was permanently laid off the beginning of September, still hasn't gotten everything from his former employer (his lil 401K plan and two week severance pay) so until he gets this...no unemployment...which means we are living on my pay.
I apologize if I offended anyone, left anyone down, or caused hurt feelings.
For those who are still looking for a stroller. Please once you check in at your resort...ASK! Many many times, outgoing guest leave strollers for incoming guest. Go to LS, Bell Services, and the front desk each morning and each night. Many MANY times, you can get a FREE stroller to use while you are at WDW. If you get one, you can use it the day or the entire week and just leave it at LS or bell services when your vacation is over. HTH
