Can anyone tell me a clear direct route to Splash Mtn. once the rope is dropped?

I've found one of the best ways to get to Splash early is to take the WDW Railroad from Main Street and get off at Frontierland. The train isn't fast, but it still gets you there before the hordes and you don't have to hoof it.:D

My family takes the route through Liberty Square. Then right in to Frontierland. But, we usually don't like to run right out to the ride of choice so we will jump on the WDW rail road and get off in Frontierland. Which is the first stop.

I would agree with MikeWazowski. I think you should head down the Liberty Square spoke of the wheel, turn left when you enter Liberty Square, and you can't miss it once you enter Frontierland.

Going through Liberty Square is a LOT quicker than going through Adventureland.

Go on an EE day and ride Buzz, SM, Pooh, Peter Pan and then it is about time for the rope to drop by HM. Go and ride Splash, BTMRR and then back to HM. It works great and you have all of those done in about 2 hours. At that point you might want to head to another park if you don't want to stay at MK on an EE day.

hoof it... hehe im going to use that one day....:)

If you go on a EE day I believe the train does not make it 's first run till 9:30.

Mary, whether you go through Adventureland (the first left at the end of Main Street) or Liberty Square (the second) you won't have a problem.

Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain next door are high capacity attractions and it's pretty much a walk-on for the first half-hour of the day (at least in my experience). You might even want to hit Thunder Mountain first because it's a shorter ride, but you really don't need to jog over there.

Space Mountain is about the only ride that really starts stacking early.

The last few times we have been at the Adventureland rope drop (including last Saturday), the CM's have walked the crowd from Adventureland thru the Frontierland shooting arcade tunnel where they have everyone stop again and wait until the crowd from Liberty Square gets there. Then they *walk* the crowd over to Splash Mountain.

There isn't a footrace like there used to be. Even if you don't hurry, you should be able to ride Splash Mountain several times before the wait time builds up.

Last Aug we walked into the park at about 9:10 and the train was getting ready to leave. We ran up the steps and caught the train to Fronterierland. We were walk ons to SM and no one was in line when we finished the ride so we got to go again without getting out. My vote use the train.
