Well, my son and I just came back from Disneyland yesterday, and while there we checked out Woody's celebration round up. First of all we went on the first day of operation, so there seemed to be quite a few Disney personel on looking in the background. :thumbsup2.
To begin, we had proir reservations so we walked up to the reservation booth, confermed it with one of the cast members and after proceded to wait to be seated. When it was are turn, we were first taken to "Woody" for a photo opt. (They say it's not a character meal but, sure seems that way) after the photo, we were seated at a picnic table. The whole atmosphere was like a dinner and a show theme. With a singer and a piano player with Woody, Jessie and Bullseye all interacting with the audience. My son absolutely loved it! It was very intertaining! We, did seem to wait awhile for are food but, being the first day and all, I did'nt mind. When the food did come we got bbq chicken, bbq ribs, coleslaw, corn wheels, baked beans and corn bread. It was portioned for 2 people but, it was alot of food. And the food was good. I just wish I did'nt wear white pants:sad2:. After we were done with are meal are dessert was brought out. It was 2 sugar cones with chocolate mousse on the bottom and cherries with a chocolate cupcake topped with whip cream. Actully one was chocalate and the other was strawberry. We never ate the stawberry one, we were too full.
All in all, I thought the entertainment was good, food was good and would do it again. Hope this was helpfull to you all.:yay

p.s I have photo's of the food but, can't seem to figure out how to get them on here. Please help!

Here is the best way to post photos. If you don't already have a free Photobucket account, start one. They seem to facilitate posting pictures on public forums whereas other image hosting sites make it a little harder to do. Once you have loaded your photos to Photobucket, you will see a series of 4 codes either underneath or to the right of each photo. Each picture has its own codes. The code you want is the IMG code, which is the fourth one down, at the very end. Click on it, highlight, then copy (Ctrl-C) the entire IMG code - do not leave any part of it out - and paste (Ctrl-V) it right here in your post, and your pictures will magically appear. It's easy! I just instructed someone else on the DIS to do this morning, and it worked successfully! Try it!

One thing nobody has commented on is the petting zoo. Did you see it while you were there? Was it closed off from the rest of the park guests?

Sounds delicious and like a lot of fun.
Can you refresh our memories on the price?

Thanks for the info and I hope you can get the photo to show.:)

I did this on Friday. The price was 28.99 (something like that), and after tax & tip it came to a little over $36. I used my AP & the price was $31, including tax/tip. The server was so good - Phil, that I tipped him a little more.

Sherry E

thanks for the photo tutorial....I was clueless on that one.

Oh you're welcome! No problem at all!:goodvibes If I could help leazel and you today, then I'm happy! We all love to look at photos here, so the easier it is for people to post, the better!! For some reason, Photobucket seems to make it much easier to copy their codes and post on public forums, but other sites like Shutterfly don't really encourage that so it is hard to do.

Leazel, did you and your son enjoy the flavor of the cupcake (I know you couldn't eat the strawberry shortcake one, but the one you did eat)? I have read a couple of other DIS'ers' reviews of Celebration BBQ on here since yesterday, and while everyone seems to concur that the food is good in general, supposedly the cupcakes are dry and flat-tasting - not moist like a cupcake should be. Now I do like a GOOD cupcake now and then, and those look SO pretty. It would be so disappointing if they are icky.

When you get the cupcakes do they just bring one of each and you pick? Or do they ask which one you want...I want one of each hahaha

part me says eh dont need to do it but another part says its bbq an I think it was at disney when i was a kid that my dad an me got some kinda bbq an i was so messy Hay we love bbq (10 years this year for those that know me Hugs. Lucky ill be in dland that day) but yes part me just wants to go to see it expearnce it

I thought that the one cupcake we did eat was good. Not dry at all. I was surprised on how much went into the dessert. A+

Thank you so much for the review and photos. Your son seems to be having a wonderful time!

Ooh, this looks like fun! Thanks for posting your review and pictures. I think we are going to have to give it a try. Those cupcakes do look really good :thumbsup2
