Round 2 - Moms Panel

I received an email saying I made it to round 2 for the WDW Moms Panel. I'm sure MANY others did too. I signed up on a whim after seeing it here. Can anyone give me more details on any perks folks on the panel may receive?

I think they pay for a trip to WDW (in December, it says).

What I want to know is what they want the 60-second video to be about...

I've seen more nays than yays on other sites. I'm on to round 2 as well, and cannot quiet my brain down. I'm percolating over here trying to come up with something!

I made it to Round 2 as well!! Last year I was a finalist and had to make a 60 second video. Making sure it's only 60 seconds is actually a LOT harder than I thought it would be. They wanted a video of my favorite Disney memory, (I'm guessing because of the Memories campaign). We won't find out until tomorrow morning what they want it to be about this year. We also had to answer two additional essay questions. I'm so excited to have made it past Round 2 again this year and I really hope the trend continues! Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have some more good news.

Which panel did everyone apply for? I chose the DVC panel because other than WDW that is the area of Disney that I have the most experience. After that, DCL and Disneyland are probably neck in neck as far as my knowledge and I know some things about ABD but have never gone on one of the trips and I have absolutely no experience with runDisney.

I didn't make it to round 2 and won't be able to apply next year as my next trip isn't until after the applications are due

My daughter-in-law has been on the Mom's panel for the second time in a row. (They asked her to return). One of her perks is a one week stay at WDW, all expenses paid for her and her family (husband and 2 kids). One trip was in August. She chose that month because of work; Disney didn't choose for her.

She loves being on the Mom's panel, but says that it's more work than she though it would be. She LOVES Disney (our whole family loves Disney). We are all going the week after Christmas this year and can't wait! She and family are going, too, but not for free. Darn it!!!

I applied for the DCL panel. That and WDW were my wheelhouse...

I made it to round 2 I have tried every year and this is the first time I've made it to the next strep. I'm trying for the runDisney panel and typically hang out on the WISH boards but had to check in here when I saw this thread.

I'm so nervous about the video. Does anyone know a site where we can see some from last year or have a clue about what to do?

Is anyone else having trouble getting their application for round 2 to go through? I can't get my video to submit....every time I click submit the video goes away and nothing happens. HELP!

Sorry, Calliebean, I haven't gotten anywhere near that far yet!

I'm trying desperately to limit my video to 60 seconds. It's really, REALLY hard!!! So far, I have it down to 2 minutes & 48 seconds. This is going to take some serious scripting & editing!
