This week, two of Disney's more intimate classics go up against one another; a stunning mouse adventure versus a classic medieval tale with a fantastical twist.

Haha! As my avatar shows, I am a big fan of Sword in the Stone and Archimedes, the Highly Educated Owl. Yay! :thumbsup2

The Great Mouse Detective, hands down.

The villain, Prof. Ratigan, voiced by Vincent Price. Toby the Beagle: 'Toby, want a crumpet?' Olivia flaverhammer...fickershimmer..FLAVERSHAM!!! The clock tower scene is the first major use of computer animation (the clock's gears) in a feature-length animated film. Sherlock Holmes with mice.

CLASSIC!!! :thumbsup2

Don't forget to vote in the poll! The poll determines who wins. ;)

Well, I love Figit from Great Mouse Detective. He was so cute and funny, and overall, the whole film was basically Sherlock Holmes but with mice. I loved it. I liked Sword in the Stone too, but the mouse one was great!

Hehe, I would like to see Merlin vs the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella in a "Wizard Battle." :rotfl:

For me, hands down, Sword in the Stone. It is one of DH's favorites, but I love it for Madame Mim. Since my name is Kim, my niece and nephew have called me Mim from the time they could talk (now they're 13 and 15 and still call me that ). So that's were my vote was this week! :thumbsup2

I'm flipy floppy over this one. One minute, I like GMD better, then the next, I prefer SITS.

I will say though that I loved the fact that Disney got a legend like Vincent Price to play the villain. That was great!

EDIT:

YOUR WINNER IS THE SWORD IN THE STONE! (9 to 3)
