I'm so sorry for you. However, I have worked with hospice people and they are some great people and will help you greatly. Please know I am so sorry for you.
I've been where you are, too. And as everyone as mentioned, hospice people are the most wonderful people. They are truly wonderful. It's never an easy time, but they make it OK.
Know that you & your family are in my thoughts & prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. The hospice nurses are really such special people. I know that they made my Gram so comfortable and at peace, she just loved her nurse.
my good friends sister had hospice this summer, she was in no pain and it allowed the family to have the precious moments together just a bit more comfortably.
Sending the best *PD* and prayers I can....as the other thread states...I HATE CANCER! Hang in there as best as you can, and I am glad you are all in OH as your DS will get to have some time together too.
So sorry about your mother....It's rough when you live far away. My mother had moved to another state but a few months before getting sick she moved back.
She wanted to be at home. So one of my sisters and I took turns staying at moms place for a few days at a time.
I don't know what we would have done with out hospice. They were a godsend.
