so my plan is for me and my grandson to return to disney the 3rd week in April 2016. Not purchasing the dining plan and staying at a value resort with 6 day non park hopper tickets.....for 2 people 8 nights what would be a rough estimate do you think? I am thinking around 3500 not including airfare from Boston..any help/feedback/advice would be great, thank you.

Actually, I'm thinking the 3500 could include the airfare.

Yes definitely over priced if airfare not included, Infact you could probably get ddp in too.

I priced out your plans for the last week of this month, paying rack rate, and including dining plan for 2,500 at All Stars Music. Even if you don't buy the plan, blocking out that amount of money for food isn't a bad idea. (At worst you'll be over by 100 bucks or so. More than likely you will be under, and under means more money for souvinEARS)

That leaves 1,100 dollars to purchase airfare. I don't know where you live, but from minnesota, that's about 2-400 dollars per person. Remember the sweet spot of buying plane tickets: 3 months out.
