Yeah - sound a little apologist to me

I usually try to put myself in the shoes of a random family visiting when judging Disney on these things and what their reasonable expectations should have been for communication.

Oh my goodness, imagine being that random casual family walking into DHS today.

I agree with a lot of that.

I think the problem I have is just the lack of communication about the change. I think a lot of people thought if they got a res into Oga's they'd be able to get in the land if it was at capacity (like it was opening day). Then just stand in line for the ride like it was for the Falcon. But to have no chance to ride it all day if you weren't there by 8am is pretty crappy in my opinion, that's the issue I have.

I understand. At the same time I think they cut off boarding groups already because they may not be able to get those people to ride if there are more breakdowns. The boarding groups could also open back up if they are getting the people through like they want.

Took the boat over from BWV didn’t get to bag check until 8:30 am. This greeted us

stopped at guest relations umbrella and assigned boarding group 138 They are on 15 but have a chance lol

told we should get a notification on MDE when boarding group is near & we have a 2 hour window to return.

pacing it have Ogas at 10:30 am. Leaving even to bwv makes me nervous we won’t get the notification

Not a good sign. Those who have been following the technical difficulties know that it reportedly has a 2 hour reset when it goes down.

Seems like the reset was about 20-25 minutes based on when people started riding again. I could see a 2 hour reset before opening because they are probably trying to find the cause of the breakdown rather than just trying to get it back up again.

You can always check the app for what group they are on. They just called groups 23-24.

ya, I understand that part. Either way i'll be in HS around 330 (I'm not expecting to ride today anyway, just gonna do other things)

I think Monday will be my money day. I'm off work that day, and can get there early

Don't give up, we got up really late, it was 1am leaving MK last night. I started clicking join boarding group at our resort at 7:30am, I tried non stop and just was able to join group 151.

You can always check the app for what group they are on. They just called groups 23-24.

Click on the 3 lines to get to the menu page
Then click on the SWGE section
It will show the boarding groups
If that’s not there then your app is out of date

They called my group & I’m on it! Sort of? But I wanted to let you guys know that they will supposedly have the x-wing drones again tonight at 6:30 & 8:05. So I won’t be able to see them unless I miss my flight home.

I’m confused. I thought you could only join a boarding group if you were in the park. You did this from your resort?

Can you please clarify? I thought you had to be in the park in order to join the Boarding group? not from your resort?
