Turnstiles opened at 6:20. Tapped in at 6:30. Boarding group 29.

At tapstile at 6:21: DS's band wouldn't tap in. We were delayed while CMs tried to fix the issue.

6:28: tried joining BG, wouldn't recognize two members of our group. Went to a CM, and at 6:29 got BG 21.

Not bad and we're happy, but the people in front of us in line got BG 6. The short delay had a decent impact.

Is it possible to know what boarding groups are currently being assigned? I.e. can you know approximately what boarding group you would get before clicking the Join button?

Unfortunately not. They just assign you to the next group.

Idk why, but today there is still a crowd back past the ticket booths. Other days once the crush has been let it, it’s been like any other day. Looks like today is going to be a busy one. Even after we left the line to get in was still just as bad.

This is perfect for us because we have mid afternoon FP+s. We are inljne for MF:SR, which much longer than it's been at this time on other days.

4:50am - left our room and ordered lyft
5:12 - arrived at DHS
5:18 - walked through “no bags” line

6:22 our first family group tapped through
6:29 all 17 people in the park, got boarding group 27

on top of that last weekend for AP locals before blackout

I'm hoping when I try to do it one more time, it won't be quite as crazy as yesterday and today. But we'll see. May try to shoot to get there just before 5.

Glad to hear you had success with a large group! We are coming in January with a family group of 14.
