I am curious for folks that don't have a smartphone/wi-fi, how do they join a boarding group?

They can go to the blue umbrella guest relations teams

There are multiple Guest Services Team stations (blue umbrellas) set up throughout the park that can assist. Reports have been they are well staffed.

Got boarding group 16. Took several tries to get all 4 people recognized as scanned in.

Today, there were about 6 blue shirt cm right after you entered the park, ready to assist

Entered around 6:38/39 got boarding group 23. Fyi, I do recommend going to the right at the ticket booths, but avoid the farthest two touch point lines, they only have one touch point each

This may come in handy if wi fi is poor. We are from Canada and rely on the free wi fi to avoid roaming charges. Every bit of info helps.

Our BG disappeared but we crashed the app and reopened it and it was there. Just in case anyone else gets the same. Never saw my DH panic so much!

For those joining a boarding group, are you using the in-park WiFi or cellular for data? And roughly how long (time) or far (distance) once in the park does the app enable the option to join?

As soon as turnstiles opened it looked like the WiFi was overwhelmed, immediately shot down to 1 bar then disappeared. I switched to LTE. And you were able to join a group a couple seconds after tapping through the tap points
