Apologies if I missed this (searched a bit) but am heading to DHS tomorrow and wondering what the current DAS process is for ROTR?

Know so much is changing November 1 and I can’t seem to figure out how DAS is being handled now that the ride has a “traditional” queue.

My assumption is same as any other ride but I dont want to assume!

You can't use a DAS at Remy if you got a BG?
You can always use DAS, but when a ride requires a BG- you must have that first in order to use the DAS privilege (so that everyone is on the same playing field). You just can’t get a “normal” DAS return time as there is no normal standby queue.

At the current time, Remy is the only attraction at this time with a virtual queue. For the other Individual Lightning Lane attractions, there is a Standby Line, so guests using DAS will be able to get a DAS Return Time.

Remy is actually specifically addressed on the WDW website page about DAS:

Interested in Riding Remy's Ratatouille Adventure?
Guests are required to join the virtual queue to experience this attraction. Once your boarding group is called, see a Cast Member at the attraction for DAS assistance. Note that you may only enter one virtual queue at a time, and the virtual queues are limited and subject to availability.

We rode ROTR today using DAS, and had ridden it prior to the new Genie+ using DAS. Process is exactly the same, except that you can now select ROTR and receive a return time via your MDE app... you do not need to go to the attraction entrance or the blue umbrellas to obtain a return time from a CM (although you also still have those options as well). DAS will tap in and enter through the Lightning Lane entrance, same as you did prior to Genie/Genie+ launch. The guests using ILLS for ROTR did not impact our wait once we entered the queue. We walked through the queue and directly into the pre-show, same as usual.

When we arrived for our Boarding Group the CM directed us to the Lightning Lane. We did not have to queue outside with the Boarding Groups. I was not aware of this, I just approached the CM to make sure we entered the correct location for our Boarding Group.

We‘ve gotten Boarding Group for Remy twice during our trip. We were not directed automatically to the Lightning Lane either time. We approached the CM at the entrance to the Lightning Lane and told her DD has DAS. The CM scanned DD’s Magicband for DAS, then the rest of our group. The next CM at the entrance to the building also scanned to verify for the Boarding Group.

I missed a line (note to self don't respond after driving all day) .... as I approached the first CM to ask where to go, she asked if he had a DAS. When I said "yes, but not for this?" she directed me to the LL.
